you know Burpees? Do you know Push-Ups? Why not combing them and do them
back to back ... have a look at the video.
We tried this last night in our Circuit Training Class - just for ONE
minute, not 10 min at least not yet.
You could build the duration up over time (as part of your general fitness
program e.g.
- Week 1: 2mins
- Week 2: 3mins
- Week 3: 4mins
- Week 4: 2x 2.5min with 30 sec break
- Week 5: 6mins
- Week 6: 2x 3.5min with 1min break
- Week 7: 7mins
-... and so on until 10min.
Keep a record of the number of burpees you do and maybe use a heart rate
monitor to watch you HR sky rocketing.

run our next "Core Strength / Pilates for Men Only" seminar in around four weeks

Participants will learn the basics of Pilates, get introduced to the
fundamental moves for increased core strength, mobility and flexibility.
We also include general core strength excercieses, which are not

We are starting
out next set of Pilates Classes and Circuit Training Classes in a bit more
than one week, during the week of Monday 8th March 2010.
Classes
include - morning classes, daytime classes, evening classes, Beginners
Level, Intermediate / Progression Levels, we use small equipment e.g.
tubes / dynabands, Pilates Circles, foam rollers, small
balls, Swiss/Gym
balls, Gymsticks in some of our Pilates classes.
The Circuit Training Classes are a mix of toning, conditioning and
aerobic fitness classes to you burn that extra bit of calories and body
fat, as well as building fat burning lean muscle mass, which will give you
that toned look and boosts your metabolism.

added another new class to our fitness and exercise class time table -
it's a pure Stretching and Flexibility Class.
You will learn: 1. different stretching techniques
2. partner stretches

and proprioceptive stretching
